Sadr Surrounded

Great news if it is true, but I have an issue that has been bugging me about coverage from Iraq.
Now I understand that Najaf, Karbala and now Kufa are holy cities.

Previously another one called Nippur was holy.
According to google there are 1,190,000 references to Iraq Holy City.
Wouldn't it be nice if they were to have operations in a venal city, or a corrupt city or even a plain boring city.

If threre were military operations in the UK, would Canterbury be described as a Britain's holiest city - or York?

Maybe this place would be classified as Britains holiest place
