I wonder how much he will raise?

The British National Party has invited the French far right leader Jean-Marie Le Pen to a prestigious fundraising rally in the Manchester area.

The leader of the French National Front will be guest of honour at a black tie gala dinner this Sunday.

Organisers of the event will not confirm the exact location of the £80-a-head dinner to avoid violent attacks by leftist saboteurs.

The April 25 fundraiser aims to help finance the party's onslaught in this June's European elections.

Mr Le Pen, aged 75, has not addressed a political rally in the UK for more than ten years.

His presence will raise expectations of a powerful pan-Europen Nationalist pact which could raise further the profile of BNP leader Nick Griffin.
