What thundering bloody cheek
It is always nice to hear positive things from across the Channel, but Chirac's response to the Rugby yesterday just takes the biscuit.
"This deserved victory is also a victory for Europe. Thanks to the extraordinary talent of the English players, the World Cup is coming to the northern hemisphere for the first time. All lovers of rugby in France and in Europe share the joy of the English fans."
Take a hike Jaques, I do not recall a single snifter of ode to joy around the stadium, not a whiff of pomade in the stands and certainly no sight of the dire blue hankie.
Get a life and get off somebody else's achievments
