Overheard in a Strasbourg Restaurant last week.

Richard Corbett, Labour MEP former Commission official, "I know all there is to know about Europe I've been here since the 60's", yup while humans were having fun he was training to be a euroweenie. And boy has he succeeded.
He is the author of the book of Europe and is generally a dribbler.

Sio that's the pleasant stuff.

While sitting in a none to posh resto in Strassers discussing all the career developments of friends from the 60's he opined that Labour would do really well in next year's Euro Elections. "We have great new slogans, 'Batting for Britain in Europe' .

Well it seems to me that the Tories have nothing to fear then if that's the opposition.
